Hello,

Our outgoing email service is having issues across the board on delivering our mail (and probably others). We have opened a support channel with them on what is going wrong.

Sorry for the inconvenience. 

If not resolved by 5pm PDT we will adjust our sending method.

Affecting Other - Mailchannels Outgoing Email service

Hello,

Today the service we use for scanning and sending outgoing emails had an issue with delivering. Emails between 3:20 PM UTC and 6:20 PM UTC were inadvertently quarantined and the quarantine system became overloaded. This caused delivery delays. They are releasing incorrectly quarantined emails, but it may be several hours before all such messages are released. Due to the delays introduced by this problem, some messages may have timed out of the queue with the message "delivery temporarily suspended". These need to be to be resent if desired.

The datacenter in Los Angeles that hosts our servers there is having a issue resulting in several of the servers to be unreachable. We do not as yet have an ETA but expect resolution soon. Note this just affects the servers in the LA datacenter. All other servers are operating fine.

We will be growing the /home2 disk today at 4:30pm PDT. This should only result in minimal downtime of 10 minutes or less.

R1soft backups are unavailable in the Toronto datacenter (except for leonin.hosting-nation) currently due to some unforeseen maintenance. 

We are working on bringing them back as soon as we can.

UPDATE: Backups are now online.

Our R1soft backup system for all servers in Toronto (except leonin.hosting-nation.com) is currently not operational due to a hardware issue with the storage system. The datacentre is working on it.
